The unit, set to deploy next year, will make access to education possible in areas without electricity or internet.
Chris Nutman, Founder of Global Teacher, said: “As we have recently launched our sponsorship model it is so important and encouraging for clubs like Rotary Darlington to become early supporters and get behind our mission by sponsoring a box. They’re a great team of proactive Rotary members and I’m looking forward to sharing the impact that Classroom-in-a-Box™️ has.”
Education transforms lives and Classroom-in-a-Box™️ allows access to quality digital education and empowers the next generation of leaders, visionaries, and problem-solvers.
Jane Bradshaw MBE, Club President at Rotary Darlington, said: “We are thrilled to have sponsored a Classroom-in-a-Box™️unit and support Global Teacher’s brilliant mission to educate one million marginalised students across the world. We can’t wait to see how the unit can change lives.”
Classroom-in-a-Box™️ works in four simple steps:
Step 1: The solar panel charges the battery.
Step 2: The battery powers the projector and ‘The Brains’.
Step 3: ‘The Brains’ provides the learning software.
Step 4: The 100” screen displays the offline learning, allowing students to access education without electricity or internet.
We want to say a huge thank you to the team at Rotary Darlington. We can’t wait to show you where their sponsored Classroom-in-a-Box™️ unit lands.
