The unit is set to be deployed next year. Our Classroom-in-a-Box™ doesn’t just transform lives – it inspires the next generation of dreamers, visionaries and problem-solvers. By providing a portable, solar-powered, offline learning kit that works without electricity or internet, it is the ideal solution for crisis zones, off-grid communities and remote schools.
Chris Nutman, Founder of Global Teacher said: “It’s amazing for learning companies like Learning Curve Group, who are leaders in the education sector, recognise the value of our work and commit to sponsoring a unit. This is incredibly helpful because it allows us to initiate our process post-sponsorship and ultimately deploy the solar-powered classroom equipment to a school or crisis zone in need.”
Learning Curve also donated content that has been sent to our recent Unit 003 deployment to Mind the Gap Africa’s Harvest Family Village, an orphanage located just outside Bulawayo. The content, showcasing employability skills units and a Hair & Beauty Level 1 course, will allow the young people at the orphanage to learn skills that will increase their chances of employment.
Our Classroom-in-a-Box™ includes:
- Solar panel – 110W foldable, waterproof solar panel which is lightweight, foldable and perfect for off-grid locations.
- Battery – Long-life, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, ideal for harsh conditions.
- Projector – compact and bright LED projector.
- ‘The Brains’ – which is where all of the offline learning is stored.
- Navigation – this includes a keyboard and mouse.
- Projector screen – 100” wall mountable projector screen.

We want to say a huge thank you to the team at Learning Curve Group! We can’t wait to show you where their sponsored Classroom-in-a-Box™ unit lands.
