The donation of the orange crates allows Global Teacher to safely transport their Classroom-in-a-Box™ units internationally. Due to batteries inside the units, specific UN-certification packaging is needed to meet shipping safety requirements.

This partnership will enable the delivery of digital education to children around the world, marking a significant leap towards Global Teacher’s goal of reaching one million learners globally.

Chris Nutman, Founder of Global Teacher, said: “Loadhog Foundation has helped us to overcome a huge international shipping hurdle for Classroom-in-a-Box™. This donation is the catalyst that takes us to the milestone of delivering the 100 boxes. We’re extremely grateful to the Loadhog team for providing the physical means to continue our mission.”

Lucy Stringer, Chair of the Loadhog Foundation, said: “At the Loadhog Foundation, we’re committed to supporting organisations that create real, lasting impact. Global Teacher’s mission to bring digital education to children in the world’s most challenging environments is truly inspiring. Knowing that our donation helps unlock international delivery of Classroom‑in‑a‑Box™, and brings learning opportunities to thousands more young people, is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Based on High Street West, Global Teacher believes that education doesn’t just transform lives – it inspires the next generation of dreamers, visionaries and problem-solvers, tackling the digital divide head on.

Classroom-in-a-Box™ is a portable, solar-powered, offline learning kit that works without electricity or internet – for those living in crisis zones and off-grid communities.
