This sponsorship is already changing lives. Three boxes have already been deployed to Zimbabwe and Ukraine, and the remaining seven units shortly heading to off-grid communities worldwide. Our units are more than just hardware; they’re a bridge to the digital world for rural classrooms.

Chris Nutman, Founder of Global Teacher said: “Our relationship with Hugh is invaluable and we’re so proud to have his support with Classroom-in-a-Box™. Hugh was one of our early supporters who got behind our mission at Global Teacher and we can’t wait to share the impact that these 10 boxes will have on classrooms all over the world.”

Our Classroom-in-a-Box™ includes:

  • Solar panel – 40W foldable, waterproof solar panel which is lightweight and perfect for off-grid locations.
  • Battery –  Long-life, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, ideal for harsh conditions.
  • Projector – compact and bright LED projector suitable for outdoor use
  • ‘The Brains’ – which is where all of the offline learning is stored.
  • Navigation – this includes a keyboard and mouse.
  • Projector screen – 100” wall mountable projector screen.
  • UN Certified Box – durable, waterproof case safe for international shipping and challenging  environments .

We want to say a huge thank you to Hugh and his team for all of their support! We can’t wait to show you where their next sponsored Classroom-in-a-Box™ units land.
